OUR ROOTS

Born From Disruption

In 2019, Seattle Sport’s story began behind the scenes — not in a traditional clinic, but as a concierge practice serving those who perform under pressure every day. Outside of her full-time role as a physical therapist at a local clinic, our founder, Jennifer Aglubat, spent long hours providing elite-level care to professional athletes and performing artists — people whose bodies are their livelihood, and whose performance demands precision, resilience, and expert support.

Then came 2020…

When the world paused, we saw possibility.

Amid the uncertainty of COVID closures, a vision took shape — not just to reopen doors, but to create new ones. Our founder recognized a critical gap: in the competitive youth sports world, athletes were undergoing training at an intensity that rivaled collegiate athletics, but without the resources available to support that demand. Former collegiate and professional athletes shared how early injuries had a direct impact on their athletic trajectory and lives, and how they would have done things differently. Young professionals shared their altered sense of self as they transitioned away from a lifetime of competitive sports and into their careers. Parents wondered aloud, “Do you think their ____ injury could be contributing to this?”.

Driven by the belief that instituting early support structures creates the greatest opportunity to make a difference, our founder took a leap — hand-picking a team of like-minded professionals with specific areas of expertise;

launching a clinic built for the driven and dedicated.

What emerged was more than a clinic. It was a new model of care: collaborative, accessible, and built around the unique needs of youth athletes, active professionals, and the families who support them. A place where physical therapy, strength and conditioning, nutrition, and wellness come together to help every patient perform at their best — in sport, work, and life.

Seattle Sport is a clinic that was born from disruption, but it thrives on connection — to our purpose, our community, and the people we serve. This is more than a recovery space.

It's where potential is restored, resilience is built, and futures are redefined.
