Cameron Ventura

PT, DPT

Cameron is an orthopedic physical therapist with a special interest in return-to-sport assessment and coaching. As a former collegiate tennis athlete, he especially enjoys working with overhead athletes of all ages. This personal experience, paired with previous clinical work with the San Francisco Giants, has prepared him to be uniquely aware of both the biomechanical demands of the sport and the psychological considerations an athlete may face following injury and during the recovery process.

While return-to-sport care is his passion, Cameron also has clinical experience in managing operative and non-operative orthopedic, acute care, and chronic pain concerns. Most recently, Cameron worked in a multidisciplinary setting involving collaborative care for chronic pain conditions amongst a team of MD, PA, NP, and PT professionals.

Cameron was born and raised in Kealakekua, Hawaii, but has lived all over the West Coast, receiving his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science at Linfield University in Oregon, completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy from California State University, Sacramento, and working in Glendale, Arizona, to start his career.

Cameron’s enthusiasm for sports extends beyond the treatment room. He’s an avid sports enthusiast, and, if there’s a professional sporting event going on, there’s a good chance he’ll know something about it. In addition to watching sports, Cameron spends his time outside of the clinic playing tennis, walking his dog, lifting, running, surfing (not in the PNW, it’s too cold), snowboarding, and discovering new restaurants.
