Seattle Sport is the Premier Destination
for Performance Physical Therapy

Our individualized approach includes a deep dive of your athletic background, medical history, and short and long-term goals to develop a partnered strategy for success. From Day One, we will explore how we can leverage other movement systems to optimize your outcomes while honoring expected tissue healing timeframes. We will take into account your lifestyle factors and preferred styles of learning to ensure you remain firmly on the right path.

We use in-person and/or film-based movement analyses, coaching or trainer feedback and expertise, and any other tools at our disposal to create a detailed report of your movement and postural habits.

Along the way, you will gain the education and tools necessary to make informed choices about your body, which leads to greater freedom to pursue any endeavor you choose.

For your convenience, we offer both remote and in-person sessions. Seattle Sport is here to lend our expertise to support you every step of the way.

At Seattle Sport, you can expect to leave every session with a clear directive on how to best manage your symptoms and gain both physical and mental resilience

While managing pain may be the initial goal, we set our sights even higher to work toward the ultimate goal of lifelong empowerment. It is this philosophy that has attracted athletes of all levels, from weekend warriors to competitors at the regional, collegiate, and national levels.

Each 60-minute session is held 1:1 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy with post-doctoral training in manual therapy and a host of other evidence-based treatment techniques.

While there are many market options when it comes to basic movement assessment and tissue recovery, a Doctor of Physical Therapy is ideally suited to perform musculoskeletal and neuromuscular examinations alongside a comprehensive body systems review to evaluate whether that nagging shoulder pain is, in fact, a shoulder issue. We will flag any concerning factors that may require additional medical intervention or assessment by your physician to ensure you receive appropriate and efficient care.

Aside from communications with your physician, we are happy to coordinate with your coaching staff, trainer, or other medical professional at your request.

A word from our clients:

I began PT with Jen at just 14 years old after being diagnosed with bulging discs in my back among an array of other issues. Jen got me through not only the physical pain but also the emotional devastation of my injuries not once but four times. I have followed Jen throughout my career to three different locations because she is genuinely that incredible at not only what she does, but the level of care and personability that she dedicates to every single one of her clients. I am now 21 years old and live in Arizona but I can honestly say that I never need to find another PT because she is as good as it gets! Jen is extremely professional, however, she has also become a part of our family and I feel so lucky to have found her!

As a performer, I have dealt with chronic upper back tightness and neck pain for years. I have met countless physical therapists while touring the country, but it wasn’t until we came to Seattle that I had the chance to experience what PT could really be like. Jen provided care for our cast and crew and was the talk of the dressing room every night. We begged her to join our tour! Instead of the usual band exercises and scalene stretches, Jen worked with me on breathing exercises and rib treatments to get me through 10-show weeks instead of our usual 7. For the first time in over a year I finally felt like there was new hope for me and my career! I was so anxious when we had to leave Seattle, but she helped put me in contact with a physical therapist in New York who I can check in with whenever I need extra help. Seattle, you have an absolute gem on your hands!

I was referred to Jen on recommendation by a few golf buddies of mine that have worked with her over the years. Though I came to her for shoulder and neck pain, she was able to identify hip mobility issues that she thought might be part of the problem by watching videos of me at the driving range. Within just two visits of working on my golf swing, my neck and shoulder pain were significantly reduced and are now completely gone. A little extra distance on my shots doesn’t hurt, either.

I saw Jen for hip pain that I had been experiencing for years. In that time, I saw my PCP, an OB/Gyn, had countless blood tests, saw two different PTs, a massage therapist, and an acupuncturist. What started off as discomfort was getting worse and worse as time passed. I had been looking forward to a post-graduation trip to Europe, but the pain had gotten so bad that I couldn’t wear certain pants without excruciating pain, much less sit on a plane for hours at a time. After the first session, Jen cautioned me that there might be more to the situation and advised me to schedule a visit with a specific doctor, anticipating that it might be a while until I could get an appointment. We continued to work on some treatment in the meantime, which helped me get through the workday, but the pain seemed to keep coming back. Within a couple weeks I was able to see the doctor Jen recommended and it turned out I had a tiny pinched nerve in my hip. My doctor was able to treat it in one office visit and after a couple weeks, it was completely gone! I couldn’t believe it. My advice to anyone is this - don’t waste time being miserable. Go see Jen. Even if she doesn’t have the answer, she’ll find you someone who does.

I am intimately familiar with physical therapy. I have been a patient many times and I even worked in a physical therapy clinic for three years. During my treatments and employment, I have worked with and met quite a few Physical Therapists.  Jennifer Aglubat is one of the best Physical Therapists I have ever encountered.  She is a consummate professional. One of her best qualities is that she listens to her patients. Jennifer wants to know how an injury occurred and the overall goals for therapy.  She believes that getting to know you as a person and not just a patient makes her a better provider.

The first time I saw Jennifer I was training in Martial Arts to earn my black belt.  I was experiencing great pain in my shoulder.  Jennifer knew how important this goal was to me and adjusted my therapy to get through my black belt test.  When I was able to take a break from my karate training, Jennifer and I worked together to rehab my shoulder.  I appreciated that she listened to my desires and figured out ways to help me. Many doctors or therapists would simply have told me to stop training in order for my shoulder to heal. Instead of benching me, she figured out how to help me meet my therapy goals and also earn my black belt.

My experience with Jennifer was so positive that when my son was in a minor car accident and suffered a back injury, we went directly to her. [My son] was 14 years old at the time. She was great with him and they formed a bond that has lasted 7 years.  When he was in high school, [my son] wrestled for O’Dea High School. During his four years on the team, he suffered shoulder injuries and knee injuries. Jennifer not only helped him rehab from his injuries, but she worked to strengthen him in efforts to decrease the chances of further injuries. When his academic and wrestling schedules became overwhelming, Jennifer went out of her way to check in with him and adjust his home program as needed.

Both my son and I are experiencing good health as a result of our treatments from Jennifer. We always felt we could contact her with questions and ask her advice even if we were not currently in therapy. I highly recommend Jennifer for all of your PT needs. Her approach to overall healing will not only make her your life long PT, but also a trusted friend.
